CPS Corporation’s Emergency Service Policy |
|
The following are guidelines to what CPS Corporation considers to be an emergency. These are guidelines and each call is taken on a case-by-case basis.
A. Must be a Preventative Maintenance Agreement Customer B. Temperatures are below 45 degrees for heating. C. Temperatures are above 85 degrees for cooling D. Sick, elderly or infants in the home E. Damage to your property will occur and the unit can not be turned off F. Our night, weekend and holiday diagnostic fee, currently $168.00 (not discountable) will apply to all after-hours calls.
If you believe that you have an emergency please call our office phone number (508-460-6691) and follow the instructions on the message service. Our on-call service technician will be paged and will call you back within 2 hours. Please do not call repeated times during these two hours as it can confuse the phone system resulting in a longer response time.
Please note that our on-call technicians are also the same technicians that you are familiar with during our normal business hours. Each technician takes a turn at being the on-call technician. While they are on call they also work a full day during regular business hours. Our guidelines are put in place so that we can provide optimal service to all our customers – both during the day and after hours.
If your situation is deemed an emergency the technician will be at your home as soon as possible. The technician will expect to collect a check for $168 plus any repair charges at the time of service.
