Gas Furnaces

The smooth comfort of gas heat with the most advanced technology

How quickly can the weather change here in New England? You already know! When temperatures outside start to dip—whether it’s September, November, February or April — maintain your family’s indoor comfort with a furnace featuring Carrier’s ComfortHeat™ or ComfortFan™ technologies: installed by the trained and certified technicians from CPS Heating & Cooling.

Carrier Gas FurnacesOrdinary furnaces warm your home with full-speed hot-air blasts followed by idle periods—causing the temperature to drop before the next heating cycle. Carrier’s exclusive ComfortHeat™ is a smart technology, accurately predicting the need for heating while cutting temperature swings in half. ComfortHeat™ provides a nearly continuous flow of warmth in a low-capacity (less expensive) operation for steadier, more consistent indoor temperature.

As good as Carrier furnaces are, they only perform at their best when they are installed by experts who understand how to identify and fit the best system to a home. The Home Comfort specialists at CPS Heating & Cooling are this region’s experts in advanced heating and cooling technology. You can have total confidence in our capabilities.

Control your home, and your life. Enhance your new (or existing) heating system with one of Carrier’s wide variety of highly engineered thermostats, wireless thermostats and Thermidistats™— including the all-star Infinity™ Control. With any of these wall units, you have precise control over temperature, humidity, air treatment and scheduling. It’s the advanced heating and cooling innovation you’re used to from the experts at Carrier, installed and maintained by the Carrier-trained expert technicians

What is AFUE (Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency)?

The AFUE rating on a furnace, indicated as a percentage, tells you how much energy is being converted into heat. An AFUE of 90 means that 90% of the fuel is being used to warm your home while 10% escapes as exhaust with the combustion gases.
