Outstanding Service Integrity
A month ago, the outside unit of our home's (Grafton, MA) air conditioner stopped working. Many HVAC technicians determined that the condenser of the AC unit had died and the unit was using R-22 refrigerant, which is no longer legal in Massachusetts. Consequently, I received several quotes ranging from 12k to 30k dollars for replacing the whole system. In addition, none of the recommendations met the existing system, so I contacted one more company. Their response led me to contact the Carrier dealer since the old system was a Carrier unit. On July 22, Danny from CPS Corporation (Comfort Product Specialist, Westborough, MA) visited the unit. I tried to share previous diagnoses with him, but he didn't seem interested. After taking a few pictures of model numbers, he left. After an hour, he emailed me a new quotation, which was perfect for my budget. On July 25, Joshua, Curtis, and Paul, technicians from CPS HVAC, came to install a Carrier system. Throughout the day, they worked with a great deal of precision and skill. A pair of electricians came to correct the circuit breaker and outlet location codes that had changed over the years, and they did an excellent job. It is my opinion that additional charges may arise soon, but I am ready to pay them if they do. The end result was that they just charged me what they promised and said they had prepared those issues in advance. As far as service integrity is concerned, Danny truly represents CPS. Moreover, Joshua and Curtis are the company's greatest assets, as I am awestruck by the quality of work they perform. Furthermore, those guys are not just a great asset of CPS Corporation, but also a building block for creating a mature environment in Massachusetts.
